There are a few changes to normal training times this week as follows:
Sat 14th June - Intermediates to train at Chorley 5-6pm (Due To Mini's Gala) Sat 14th June - Juniors to train at Brinscall 10-11:30am (Due To Mini's Gala) Mon 16th June - JD to train 8-9pm in lieu of Thur's cancelled session Wed 18th June - District to train 9-10pm (Due to Schools gala taking place till 9pm) Wed 18th June - Juniors & JD training cancelled (Due to Schools gala taking place till 9pm) Thur 19th June - District & JD training cancelled (Due to Schools gala taking place till 9pm) We have decided to hold a gala specifically for our younger swimmers this Saturday 14th June, so please be aware that there will be some changes to the usual swimming lessons, as follows: 5-6 pm in the Small pool will be the following lessons: Polly's 5.00 & 5.30 Adams 5.00 Ewan's 5.30 so if you usually attend the above classes then please arrive just before 5pm for your gala 6-7 pm in the Big pool will be the following lessons: Adams 5.30 & 6.00 6.30 classes Alphas so if you usually attend the above classes then please arrive just before 6pm for your gala There will be some changes to training times for our older squads as a result of the above gala, as follows:
Saturday 5-6 pm Intermediates @ Chorley. Juniors 10:00 – 11:30 @ Brinscall. At the recent ASA NW Regional Championships our very own Lizzie Woodcock achieved great success in the 100m Freestyle final, not only winning the bronze medal but also securing a place at this years ASA National competition in August.
The NQT (National Qualifying Time) is 1:04.63 and as you can see below Lizzie smashed that by just under a second. Simply awesome, well done Lizzie, we're all so proud of you and good luck at the Nationals. |
