It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of one of our fine young coaches, Adam Sumner, after a brief battle with cancer. Adam was a really genuine nice guy with a great sense of humour who gave up a lot of his spare time to help out at the club, especially with the younger swimmers in our mini marlins lessons.
The club, Chorley and indeed the world will be a worse place without Adam, a true gentleman right to the end. Our sincere condolences go out to all his friends, colleagues and family in these dark times. RIP Adam
