Last year Olivia achieved five County times, one for every 50m stroke and one for her 100 back. Last week she achieved her ultimate goal and came first in the finals at the Lancashire County Age Group and Championships gaining her first County Championship medal for her back stroke but she didn't stop there she also achieved second for her butterfly, all with the support from Ewan who was there all day cheering her on. We do it all again next week for crawl, breast and hundred back. Fingers crossed!!!
Over the last twelve months she has been training and competing hard to qualify for the World Championship in America for her gymnastics and after four gruelling competitions she qualified in January to represent Widnes in Orlando . She will fly out at the end of June but this has all been with the support and encouragement of our fabulous head coach Mary. Olivia has always given 100% in swimming and that's due to Mary being so supportive along with the other fabulous coaches. Massive thank you to you all. Congratulations Olivia and good luck at the weekend from all at Chorley Marlins We are submitting membership renewals on Friday 7th February. There are a number of members who have not yet renewed their membership. Should you wish to continue training with Chorley Marlins please renew your membership before Friday. Any questions please contact memberships@chorleymarlins.org.uk
