 North Lancashire Swimming Association Age Groups and Championships The Meet will be held at Palatine Leisure Centre Blackpool on 21st/22nd September and 5th October 2024 Entries will open shortly through Swim Manager. The competition is open to swimmers who are at least 9 years old on 5th October 2024. Age Groups: 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16/0v Events are 50m, 100m, 200m all strokes, 100m, 200m, 400m IM, 400m,800m, 1500m Freestyle. (400 IM, 800 & 1500 Freestyle 11 years upwards only) Championship events are 50m Backstroke, Breaststroke, Butterfly, and Freestyle, 100m Backstroke, Breaststroke, Butterfly, and Freestyle. 200m Freestyle, 100m Individual Medley and 400m Ind. Medley. Submitted times must be equal to or faster than the qualifying time attached below and have been achieved at a Level 1,2,3 or 4 licensed meet. 25m pool times or converted 50m times should be submitted. All times must have been achieved between 1 September 2023 and 8 September 2024 from a licensed meet (levels 1,2,3 & 4). The programme of events can be found in the attached below 
 The summer training break will be Monday 5th August to Sunday 18th August.
The final training sessions will be on Sunday 4th August with training resuming on Monday 19th August. Mini Marlins & Development Group final sessions Saturday 3rd August and resume on Saturday 24th. Swimmers are under the supervision of their coaches and team managers.

 Mini Marlins Summer Gala will take place on Saturday 13th July.
A fun and friendly introduction to competitive swimming. Children will compete against just those swimming in their class, all races are fun events tailored to the ability and experience of the group. Leyland Leisure Centre Mini Marlins Swimmers For all Mini Marlins who swim at Leyland, races will take place within the normal lesson times at Leyland Leisure Centre on Saturday 13th July. All Seasons Leisure Centre Chorley Mini Marlins Swimmers Mini Marlins swimming at All Seasons Leisure Centre will have their races at 4:00pm on Saturday 13th July at All Seasons. Medals are awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. Entries must be received by Monday 8th July. Entry into the gala costs £5.00 per swimmers, with certificates awarded to all participants. There will be no lessons running for Mini Marlins swimmers on Saturday 13th July for those not entering the gala.
