We don't currently have any Chorley Marlins Swimming Caps available to purchase. They are on order but have been delayed as the  printer is waiting for delivery of white swim caps. When they are received we will let members know.

Entries are now open for the City of Leeds Christmas Cracker 2021, to be held 17th - 19th December, at  John Charles Centre for Sport, Leeds. 

This Is a long course meet and has proved popular in recent years, with great feedback from our swimmers, parents and coaches.

The meet is open to all swimmers in Alphas and above. Upper time limits only apply, these can be found attached and on the reverse of the entry form. Please ensure times are included on your entry form, entries cannot be submitted without a current time. Should swimmers require timing please speak to a member of the coaching staff.

Dear Parents and Swimmers,

We hope you are looking forward to this weekend's gala. 

We anticipate this to be a busy meet, please ensure you arrive at the venue in plenty of time for warm up to ensure the organisers are able to make a prompt start. 

May we remind you that spectators are limited to one per family.

Should you need to withdraw from any event entered please inform Mary as soon as possible.

If parking on site drivers are required to enter their details on the registration screens located in reception.

Swimmers will need a spare t-shirt for use on poolside in between events, along with suitable snacks and a water bottle.

Warm Up

Session 1   
8:30 – 8:50 am – Girls 13 yrs & under
8:50 – 9:10 am – Boys 13 yrs & under
9:10 – 9:30 am – Mixed Girls & Boys 14 & over

Start as soon after 9:30 am as possible

Session 2   
13:00 – 13:20 – Boys 13 yrs & under
13:20 – 13:40 – Girls 13 yrs & under
13:40 – 14:00 - Mixed Girls & Boys 14 & over

Start as soon after 14:00 as possible

There is a café facility in the reception area of the centre. However we do not know if  this facility will be open..

No parents/guardians allowed in the changing rooms.

Coaches and poolside personnel please do not enter the poolside until instructed to.

There are to be no camping chairs brought into the spectator gallery or onto the poolside for this meet.

As an extra precaution can you encourage your swimmers, coaches, spectators and volunteers to take a lateral flow test on Saturday. If anyone is unwell they should not attend.

A reminder that there is no training on Sunday 10th October at Brinscall Swimming Pool due to the No Frills Meet at Darwen involving a number of swimmers who would normally train at that time.

Please carefully check your entries in the attached file. 

We would like to remind swimmers and parents that this is a 'no frills' event. No medals will be awarded, however times will be made available and will be uploaded to Swim England rankings.

Spectators are encouraged to print off the programme in advance of attending, as there will only be a limited supply of programmes at the venues.

Please remember that mobile phones and other electronic devices with image capturing capability are not permitted in the leisure centre, so we would ask that spectators print off the programme and do not access it on their phone/tablet at the event.

Please also remember that spectator numbers are restricted to one spectator per swimming family.

Swimmers will require an extra towel / t-shirt for use on poolside between events, snacks, and water / still drinks for rehydration (no fizzy drinks).

Timings are expected to be as follows:

8.30am warm up for 9.30am start  (Session 1 - Events 101 - 110)
1.00pm warm up for 2.00pm start   (Session 2 - Events 201 - 210)
Expected Finish 4.30pm.
