City of Leeds Christmas Cracker 2025 – Entries Close Wednesday 5th November

Entries are closing for the City of Leeds Christmas Cracker Meet 2025, one of the most popular and exciting long-course competitions of the year for Chorley Marlins swimmers.

This Level 3 Licensed Meet will be held at the John Charles Centre for Sport, Aquatics Centre, Leeds — a world-class 50m, 10-lane pool that provides a fantastic racing opportunity for our swimmers.

Age Groups

Boys: 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16/Over
Girls: 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16/Over

All events are Heat Declared Winners.

50m / 100m / 200m – all strokes
400m Freestyle
200m Individual Medley
400m Individual Medley

Awards: Medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each age group.

Entry Details

£8.50 per race
£2.50 gala entry fee
Open to: All swimmers in Alpha Squad and above
Upper time limits apply – please check the attached qualifying times.
Entries must include a current recorded time.

If you do not have an official time, please speak to your coach or a member of the poolside team – arrangements can be made for you to be timed during training.

Entries close: Wednesday 5th November 2025
