We’re always excited to welcome new swimmers to Chorley Marlins — whether your child is just starting their swimming journey or looking to take the next step into competitive swimming.

From our Mini Marlins Learn to Swim lessons through to our competitive squads, we offer a clear and supportive pathway for swimmers of all ages and abilities.

Free Trial Session
Every new swimmer is invited to attend a free trial session with one of our qualified coaches.
During the trial, we’ll:

• Assess your child’s current swimming ability
• Provide feedback on their strengths and areas to develop
• Recommend the most suitable lesson or squad for their age and experience

This ensures each swimmer joins the right group to support their confidence and progression.

Joining from Another Club
If your child already trains with another swimming club, we can arrange for you to speak directly with one of our coaches to make sure the move to Chorley Marlins is smooth and keeps your swimmer’s development on track.

How to Apply
If you’d like to arrange a trial, please complete our Contact Form and include:

• Your child’s name and date of birth
• Their swimming ability, including any badges, stages, or awards achieved
• Details of any previous lessons or club experience

Our admin team will get in touch to confirm your trial date and provide full details. Replies will come from [email protected] — if you don’t receive a response within three days, please check your spam or junk folder.
