Well done to the 5 swimmers that represented Chorley Marlins at this years Regional Age Group Championships.
There were some great swims, PB's were smashed and needless to say a few tears shed along the way. Fantastic, well done to the following swimmers: Chloe Cottam - qualified for 8 events, reaching the final in 3 of them (400m Im/100m Fly/200m Fly) Jack Hardman - qualified for 4 events. Lizzie Woodcock - qualified for 3 events, reaching the final of the 100m Free and winning the bronze medal. Alex Highcock - qualified for 2 events. Luka Hyam - qualified for 1 event. To even qualify for the Regional Champs is a fantastic achievement, every credit goes to the level of commitment and attitude to training that each of these swimmers has shown over the last 12 months. A big thank you to all the coaching staff as well, as without you these swimmers would not be able to accomplish what they have. For a full run down of the results click here.
