Another year is nearly at an end and that can only mean one thing, the Chorley Marlins Annual Distance Meet. Some great performances from all those involved, just looking at updating the open age records and only one tumbled this year and that was Anna Doughty breaking her own record from the previous year for the 200m Breast, well done Anna. One more time caught my attention and that was James Highcock in the 200m breast with a time of 2:47.06 very good indeed and only 5 seconds off Adam Shaw's record 2:43.82 set way back in 2008, go for it next year James you can have it :) It's difficult to say much more as I wasn't there on the night but again thanks to all the swimmers who participated, you're doing us proud keep up the good work. As always it goes without saying but I'll say it anyway, thanks to all the people that work tirelessly behind the scenes and at the gala to make the evening run smoothly, THANKS you know who you are :) The results sheets are posted below (sorry for the ticks I should have scanned before I started doodling lol)
