Chorley Marlins Annual Sprint Meet 2014

A BIG thank you to all those that supported the club by entering this years sprint meet. Some great swims all round, lots of PB's, no records were broken but some were equaled this year (nearly Tom nearly)
There isn't room here to mention everyone but special mention must go to the following:

• Chloe Cottam, Joe Archangelo, Issac Brennand and Luka Hyam all performed brilliantly in the fact that out of 9 events they won 9 gold medals in their age groups. What an amazing feat to achieve a clean sweep in the medal hauls and beat Michael Phelps's 8 golds at the Olympics :)
• Lizzie Woodcock who won a very credible 8 gold medals, you're swimming really well Lizzie keep it up.
• Georgia Ashton who won 8 gold medals in total which was every race she entered and at the age of 10 will no doubt go on to be an amazing swimmer, keep up the good work Georgia.
  
• Sarah Glen at the age of 9 is proving to be a swimmer of the future by winning 7 gold medals, great job Sarah fantastic swimming.
