Well done to the 4 swimmers who travelled to Manchester to compete on the 20th and 21st of December. It was a strong competition with the likes of commonwealth gold medalist, Hannah Miley competing. Our swimmers swam well considering the competition was just before the Christmas break. A Well done goes to Lizzie Woodcock who gained 6 silver medals out of her 7 events, some of which came down to very close finishes. Along with the other swimmers' great performances Chorley Marlins finished 8th out of 39 teams in the club standings. These were based on the average fina points and were appropriately named 'club quality rankings'. See the standings below:
