North Lancs Round 3 @ Chorley, Saturday 28th June 2014

Chorley Marlins had an excellent performance in the 3rd round North Lancs gala last saturday coming 2nd to Preston who are currently top of the league. This was even more remarkable due to several regular swimmers being unavailable those who did take part had to swim in more events, in higher age groups, and had shorter breaks. The best performance of the meeting had to be the girls open freestyle relay, which was won by a large margin even though two of the swimmers, Elodie(13) and Lizzie(12), were quite a lot younger than the opposition (usually 15 or older).
