Please remember it's the 2nd and final round of the Duel in the Pool tomorrow night 7-10pm, everyone who is over Microleague age (12) is to compete in 25m & 50m sprints, against Leyland.

Good luck to all our Club and Squad swimmers competing over the next two weekends at this year's Lancashire County Championships in Manchester.

Elizabeth Woodcock, Chloe Cottam, Jack Hardman, Mariette Braithwaite, Ben Gibbs, Isaac Brennand, Georgia Ashton, Anna Nikolakis, Emily Barclay and Anna Doughty. Please see the session times for this weekends Lancs County Championships.  I'm told that the fins have now arrived and you can pick them up from reception at All Seasons Leisure Centre.
By now most of you should have received your membership renewal packs, if you haven't then please contact your squads liaison officer as soon as you can.
The deadline for returning your completed forms is the 29th Feb and your standing order needs to be changed to the new fees, to come into effect from the 1st March. Every year we get together with Leyland Barracudas to host the annual Shrimps gala for those aged 8-9. This year we were outnumbered by Leyland who brought over 30 swimmers along where as we only had 12, but our swimmers did us proud in collecting 17 medals to Leyland's 30. It really was a case of outmanned but not outgunned. Thanks to all those swimmers who participated you're a credit to Chorley Marlins and Leyland Barracudas, long may this competition carry on. Due to the Shrimps gala taking place at Chorley tomorrow 4-7pm there will be no training for Junior & Intermediate squads and mini Marlins lessons are cancelled.
