We need to have enough qualified timekeepers to be able to run the Sprint Gala next month. These can be those who have previously completed a course or those willing to do the course to qualify. The Swim England Timekeeping Course is online and can be completed anytime prior to the Sprint Gala. The course covers what being a timekeeper is all about through an interactive e-learning which will take you between 60 and 90 minutes to complete, followed by a practical timekeeping session. This can be completed at an event such as the Sprint Gala. You can sign up here. The Club will reimburse the £5 course fee and Category 3 SE membership (£12.50) once the course is completed including the practical session. Also, could any parents who have previously completed one of the timekeeping courses the Club has run and is willing to assist at the Sprint Gala please comment below. The Chorley Marlins Membership form is attached below to apply for CAT3 membership. Please complete the form and return to Bev [email protected] Claire [email protected] . They will register you with Swim England and send you your membership number so that you can go to the Institute of Swimming (IOS) website and register, you will then be able to enrol on the course. Payment of £12.50 for CAT3 should be made into the same account as Marlins fees are paid into. Once the course including the practical session is completed you will be fully reimbursed for the course and SE membership. Any questions please post in the comments section.
