Marlins Spring Social - Wacky World Here are the kids who came along to Wacky World on Friday night, after a testing start with traffic problems all the kids had a brilliant time throwing themselves around the giant inflatable playground! There were more than one or two envious parents watching from the sidelines that night! Perhaps we'll have to have an adult version for parents only but this is something we are keen to continue for the swimmers. The swimmers all put so much time and effort into training so it's good to give them a chance to spend time socially with their friends out of the pool, as it's really hard to have fun and talk in the pool with a face full of water and the threat of Mary dishing out more kick sets as punishment :) So if anyone has suggestions for the next social please pop your comments here and our Social Sec, Amanda will be sure to look into it! and keep your eyes peeled for the next social event coming up! or you can email [email protected] Emily has decided to do a sponsored swim in aid of the Alzheimer's Society and would be happy if you could support her. please meet at, All Seasons Chorley on Sunday 25th, 6pm for a team photo with their medals please. Chris Samways was trying to get to Brinscall to coach this mornings session but there's no chance of getting there. At 7.55am we managed to get hold of Declan, the manager of the pool and he has opened the pool but roads are really bad and he nearly crashed 4 times. He was in the process of getting it closed.
Due to the treacherous roads we have made the decision to cancel training. It's that time of the year again, Easter is closing fast and the Easter Bunny has been busy and he's got loads of eggs to be won in our Easter bingo bonanza. (see poster for details)
Just to gauge attendance on the night could everyone please comment below if you wish to attend. |
