We're having technical difficulties with the commenting system, could everyone email Mary with their availability [email protected]. Due to contamination of the main pool we've had to cancel all training tonight which affects Mini Marlins (main pool), Intermediates and Juniors.

As the open water season has now officially started, Swim England North West have arranged a varied line up of events. We thought we would share with you all the Open Water sessions that we have available this Spring/Summer for both swimmers & coaches.
Swim England North West are pleased to announce “Introduction to Open Water – Skills Sessions” for those new to the sport of Open Water on the 2nd & 9th June 2018, at Helly Hansen Water Sports Centre in Salford Quays. All swimmers must be aged between 12 and 16 and be a member of Swim England. The session will incorporate both theory and practical sessions and include the open water environment, a safety briefing and acclimatisation. Warm up for the Microleague fixture is scheduled for 10.30am on Sunday and we would advise to allow extra time to get to the Centre. Saturday & Sunday 14th/15th July 2018. This meet is part of North Lancs programme to provide competition for all and is being held at the Palatine Pool, St. Anne’s Road, Blackpool, on 14/15 July 2018. The pool is equipped with Omega Electronic Timing System. Club closing date for entries SUNDAY 21st MAY 2018. Chorley Marlins Andrea Lawless Sprint Meet 2018. Last Weekend saw some of our coaches and swimmers attend a coaching development day hosted by Olympic swimmer Michael Rock. Our Coaching team of John England, Callan Sharples, Mary Parkinson, Ewan Smallwood and Dave Jackson coached our swimmers Caitlin Gibson and Joe Parkinson alongside Micahel. A great day for all involved.  |
