The next round of the Jewel in the Pool will take place on the 14 January at Leyland swimming baths.
The start time is 7pm but we've been asked that everyone arrives at 6:45pm for registration purposes. If you aren't taking part then training is as normal at Chorley.  The Shrimps Gala is aimed at all the Mini Marlins swimmers and will be held at Chorley All Seasons on Saturday 12th January 2013, please arrive at 4.45pm for a 5pm start.
All events will be Micro league events excluding relays and IM. The total cost for each competitor is £5 whether they enter one event or all of them. All events will be 25 metres. There will be heat declared winners presented on the night. The event will be jointly arranged and be open to everyone from Chorley Marlins and Leyland Barracudas. Date of Birth criteria will be notified as soon as I find out (check back here soon) Update: to enter the swimmer has to be aged 8 or 9 on the last Sunday of November 2013 which is the 24th Each Competitor will get a certificate for competing and the order will be. Backstroke Front crawl ----------------- Presentation ---------------- Fly Breast ---------------- Presentation ---------------- There will be spot prizes for individual heat winners and spectators will be charged £2 entry fee. Please Note: that 25m time trials will be held for the Improvers on Sunday the 6th January during their normal swimming session.

I would normally be at All Seasons between 6 and 8pm to collect the forms however due to the early closure of the centre at 6pm I will be there between 5.30 and 6pm. If you have any queries could you e-mail me if possible rather than waiting until Sunday.
I will not be returning to the centre after this date therefore please ensure your forms are in the postbox before 6pm and fully completed with times otherwise they will NOT be submitted. Entries are to be sent off immediately due to the xmas period. May I suggest you submit them at a training session during the week to save yourself an extra trip.  The leisure centre have notified us at the eleventh hour that they plan to shut the leisure centre early next weekend on both Sat the 22nd and Sun the 23rd December. Due to this we have to cancel all training on both nights including mini Marlins.
