25th Feb Due To Duel In The Pool (Warm up for those competing tonight is 8pm) Chorley Marlins Swim England renewals will be submitted this Monday evening at 5pm.
After this time swimmers who have not renewed their membership will not be insured to take part in training or competitions. Unfortunately memberships are not renewed automatically, it is the individuals responsibility to renew. We will be at the Chorley pool on Sunday from 5.30pm till 7.15pm. Apparently there is a bit of confusion over the Rising Stars gala, with some parents thinking this is an invitation only gala, we as a club have been invited but the meet is open to all our swimmers from development squad up
aged 6yrs - 13yrs. Swimmers aged 6-8 on day of competition will be swimming 25m events and those aged 8- 13yrs swimming 50m events. All that are eligible are very welcome to enter. Thank you, Claire. Charlie Kavanagh was training last night (Sunday 10th) from 6-7pm and has lost his Fitbit watch! He thinks he put it in his swimming bag but it’s not there now, but maybe he put it in the wrong bag. It was a Christmas present so he is very upset to have lost it.
Could everyone please check their swimming bags to see if it's there, if found please give it to one of the coaches at your next session. Thanks Payment of Gala and Competition Entries
To assist our very busy Competition Secretary and Treasurer, could swimmers who enter a Gala or Competition please make sure your entry payment into the competition account is made before you submit your entry form. Also please make sure you identify your payment with the swimmers name. Once again we are chasing payments after we have submitted our club entry. The Harrogate gala totalled £430 which has been submitted and paid by the club, but so far we have only received £216 in gala payments. Please make your payments today if you haven't yet done so. Future entries will not be submitted unless payment has been received. |
