Brinscall Sunday 1st October

There will be no morning training at Brinscall on Sunday 1st October due to swimmers and coaches attending the North Lancs L2 Meet. Intermediate and Junior Squad swimmers can instead train Saturday 8-10 am at Brinscall.

Mobile Phones

We would like to remind members and parents that, in line with Wavepower (Swim England Child Safeguarding Policies and Procedures) and the Leisure Centre’s policies, cameras and mobile phones are not to be used in the changing and shower areas.

We understand that mobiles are a necessity for many swimmers in order to contact their parents etc. If members need to use their phone it should not be in the changing room or poolside. Texts and phone calls should be made in the foyer.

Parents, please could you ensure that your swimmer is aware of this.

District & JD Saturday 23rd

Due to Brinscall Swimming Pool being closed on Saturday 23rd September, District and JD squad morning training has been moved to All Seasons Chorley at the normal time of 8-10am.

Warm Up Session 5

9:00 - 9:30 am - Mixed 1500 m 3 lanes
9:00 – 9:15 am – Girls 9/10/11 years 5 Lanes
9:15 – 9:30 am – Girls 12/over 5 lanes
9:30 – 9:45 am – Boys 9/10/11 years All Lanes
9:45 – 10:00 am – Boys 12/over All Lanes

Start as soon after 10:00 am as possible.

Warm Up Session 6

1:30 – 1:45 pm – Girls 9/10/11 years
1:45 – 2:00 pm – Girls 12/over
2:00 – 2:15 pm – Boys 9/10/11 years
2:15 – 2:30 pm – Boys 12/over

Start as soon after 2:30 pm as possible.

There is a café facility in the reception area of the centre.
Swimmers will be marshalled in the school changing rooms near the changing village.
No photography in the facility (centre policy)
No parents/carers allowed in the changing rooms.
There is a training session taking place prior to the gala.
Coaches and poolside personnel will be able to access poolside at 8:30 am.
Swimmers and parents/carers should not to arrive too soon. No need to arrive before 8:15 am

Withdrawals at Blackpool must be made on an official withdrawal form (available at the pool) or to Janice Whittle by text to mobile number 07951 652410 from from Thursday 28th September
To help the event run smoothly withdrawals must be made no later than 45 minutes before the start of a session. Swimmers may be subject to a fine of £10 per event for none notification of a withdrawal.
Please withdraw in time to avoid empty lanes.

A size guide is attached. All measurements in cm and swimwear is made to be tight fitting, so if in doubt go up a size . All swimwear is made to order.

Invoices will be issued through Swim Manager and should be settled by the order deadline.

If the ordered items are gifts please let us know when ordering so that they are not given out at training.
