Just a quick reminder for those new to JD or District squads that Saturday morning training sessions at Brinscall are from 9am-11am as the Rookie Lifeguard course is on afterwards from 11am-11:30am

Last night saw Chorley Marlins finish 4th in the regional NW Arena League final gala. The teams that finished in the top six after the first two rounds battle out for promotion to the league above. We did ourselves proud and every swimmer can be pleased of what they achieved in a very tough gala, well done everyone. To cap the evening off we were voted Best Supporting Club, which means we showed a sense of fair play, we supported our swimmers well and were all dressed in team colours, looking very smart indeed. Well done everyone :)

It was a great night last night at presentation eve, everything went really well
​and we hope everyone enjoyed themselves.

Someone must have enjoyed themselves that much that they forgot their coat on one of the coldest nights for months :)

That as from Tuesday 6th February 2018, there will be an additional training session which will be held at Brinscall at 7pm to 8pm.

It is now that time of year where club and ASA memberships are due for renewal. The process of renewing your membership will need to be completed soon.
Forms are being distributed now and can be collected from the Liaison officers or committee members who will be at the pool

Once you have received your form/s it needs to be completed and returned, before MONDAY 12th February 2018, with your ​Swim England Membership and Club Membership payments, together with confirmation that your Monthly Training fees have been increased from ​1st January 2018

RENEWALS CAN NOT BE PROCESSED WITHOUT ALL OF THE ABOVE BEING RECEIVED/CONFIRMED, NO REMINDERS WILL BE ISSUED

Returning your form/increasing your training fees after these dates will mean that unfortunately you will not be registered with SE or Chorley Marlins and therefore unable to swim for insurance purposes. 

Swim England have decided to implement some changes which will come into effect in 2018. 
 
Renewals submission
The introduction of the Online Membership System (OMS) in 2012 streamlined the administration of renewals data. To make sure that clubs and members are properly insured for the activities they are taking part in, Swim England have made the decision to bring the submission of the renewals deadline forward to the 28 February for 2018.

To enable us to make this dead line we request that renewal forms are returned please by the 12 February 2018
  
Membership cards
From January 2018 membership cards will no longer be issued to new members.

New members will now receive an email from Swim England once we have processed their details. This will tell them all about their Swim England membership benefits and how they can access the Online Membership System (OMS) to view and update their details. Members will also get an email when their membership is renewed.
