To make the most of our pool times and reduce congestion at peak times it has been deemed necessary to change around the training times for Wednesdays training as of next week, Wednesday 24th sep 2014 and for the foreseeable future. Times are as follows:
It's that time of year when "Duel in the pool" begins again. For those that are unfamiliar "Duel in the pool" is a series of galas that take place between Leyland Barracudas and Chorley Marlins but takes place during normal training hours on Monday evenings.
Have a look at the poster below for the dates involved and other info. Well done to Isaac who has swam brilliantly in this years Microleague team competition and has secured the Top Boy award in Division A for 2014.
![]() Well done to Lizzie Woodcock for being selected for the Northwest England Programmes Education and Development Day (EPEDD) on October 5th at Manchester Aquatics Centre. The EPEDD is lead by Fred Furniss and consists of a variety of water and land based activities. The selections were made according to performances in the season. Information and entry forms are available under the 'open galas' tab on the website for the above gala which will take place at the Palatine pool, Blackpool. Forms will also be available from All Seasons shortly.
All our swimmers who meet the times should be entering this gala. Please ensure the entry forms are completed fully with times. Speak to Mary in advance if you need any times. Please do not leave the form blank and expect me to do it for you. Closing date is STRICTLY Sunday 5th October 2014. Late entries will not be accepted due to very tight deadline. A separate gala has been arranged for our swimmers who are too fast for this gala and you will be emailed direct with the details. Any queries please email me at [email protected]. Regards Ashley (Comp Sec) Congratulations to our swimmers who competed at the above gala last weekend at Sheffield.
