Details of the meet can be found here. Entries should be made through Swim Manager with payment required at time of entry.  A coat has been handed in at All Seasons Chorley, it is available to collect at training.
 Sunday, April 30, 2023 - No morning training at Brinscall due to Swim England North West Summer Regionals. Intermediates and Juniors can swim Saturday 8-10am.
Monday, May 1, 2023 - No training Bank Holiday  Entries are now open for Chorley Marlins Club Championships - Andrea Lawless Summer Meet.
This will take place on Sunday 11th June 2023 at Darwen Leisure Centre, The Green, Darwen BB3 1PW . Start time is 12.00 pm. Entries should be submitted through Swim Manager. This gala is open to all squad swimmers currently training in Development Group and above. Events are: 50m Freestyle, 50m Backstroke, 50m Breaststroke, 50m Butterfly, 200m Freestyle and 400m Freestyle. Note - Development Group should only enter the 50m events. Age will be as at age on Sunday 11th June. Medals will be awarded to 1st - 3rd place in each of the following age groups; 9 and under, 10yrs, 11yrs, 12yrs, 13yrs,14yrs and over. Darwen Leisure Centre has excellent facilities, the swimming pool is an 8 lane 25m Regional Short Course Pool with ample tiered spectator seating. As this is our own club gala there are no minimum times needed for entry. A current time should be provided, if swimmers do not have current times please ask one of the poolside coaches to participate in a time trial, then forward times to Claire at [email protected] to update your entry. Entries are now open for the City of Leeds Summer Meet 2023, Saturday & Sunday 24 - 25 June 2023 at Aquatics Centre, John Charles Centre for Sport, Middleton Grove, Leeds, LS11 5DJ. This Is a long course meet and is similar to the Leeds Christmas Cracker which proved popular in recent years, with great feedback from our swimmers, parents and coaches. The meet is open to all swimmers in Alphas and above. Upper time limits only apply, these can be found attached. Please ensure times are included on your entry, entries cannot be submitted without a current time. Should swimmers require timing please speak to a member of the coaching staff. FACILITIES 10 lane, 50m Pool, Anti-wave lane ropes and Electronic timing.  Entries are now open for the Blackpool Rocks Gala 2023. Venue: Palatine Leisure Centre, St Annes Road, Blackpool, FY4 2AP Dates: May 27th and 28th 2023 The meet is licensed at level 3 and shall be run under Swim England Laws and Technical Rules and the promoters’ conditions. The competition is open to all swimmers who are at least 9 years old on the final day of the meet and who are registered competitive members of Swim England (Club Compete). The Age Groups will be 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14/Over as at midnight on 28 May 2023. The competition shall be held in an 8 lane 25m pool with anti- wave lane ropes. Electronic timing shall be in operation. Events are 50m, 100m, 200m all strokes, 100m.I.M. and 200m I.M. NB: 200m IM & 200m Fly 11 yrs + over. Consideration times apply, these, along with the programme of events for the weekend can be found in the attached below. Payment should be made to the competition account. This is a long course event. Events include all 50m sprints, and a 200IM Skins event (ages 14 yrs +, the fastest 8 girls and fastest 8 boys entering the event will qualify) Age groups - 9yrs, 10yrs, 11ys, 12yrs,13yrs, 14yrs, 15yrs and over. Age as at 21/05/2023. 200m IM Skins event - swimmers aged 14yrs and above are invited to enter the skins event. The fastest 8 male and female swimmers will be invited to compete - to enter this event please email Claire at [email protected], ensuring you include a time for 200IM. The skins competition is based on an individual medley, with all four strokes available to swim in each round.
