 Due to the Mini Marlins December Gala taking place on Saturday 3rd December at Leyland Leisure Centre, there will be no training at Leyland on Saturday. Development Group swimmers (60 minute sessions) who normally train at Leyland can instead train at All Seasons Chorley 5:00 - 6:00pm on Saturday this week.

 Information received from Preston SC regarding this weekends meet. Marshalling will take place in the sports hall which is where swimmers should be based. It is not the Marshals job to chase the swimmers, it is (as always) the swimmers’ responsibility to present themself in good time for the race. Swimmers are reminded to be sensible in their conduct and respectful of other competitors. Footwear is to be worn at all times when not on poolside – this includes when walking from the sports hall to the pool and vice versa. Swimmers club affiliation must be evident at all times when in the leisure centre (i.e. identifiable club kit ) – no plain hoodies or tracksuit tops please.  Withdrawals – by email to [email protected] before the event (or on the day up to 45 mins before session start time to the timing desk) stating the swimmer name , event number and competitor number.
 A training session will take place on Thursday 1st December, 8:00pm at Chorley for the Arena League team. This is a date change from Saturday, JD and District training will still also be running on Thursday for those not involved. Children will compete against just those swimming in their class, all races are fun events tailored to the ability and experience of the group. For all Mini Marlins who swim at Leyland, races will take place in within the normal lesson times at Leyland Leisure Centre on Saturday 3rd December. Medals are awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd Places for girls, and 1st, 2nd and 3rd places for boys. Entries must be received by 30th November. Entry into the gala costs £5.00 per swimmers, with certificates awarded to all participants. There will be no lessons running for Mini Marlins swimmers (30 minute lessons) on Saturday 3rd December for those not entering the gala at either Leyland or Chorley pools.
