We are very excited to bring you the opportunity to take part in a Swim Clinic led by retired Olympic Swimmer and Current British Record Holder Michael Rock at Chorley Leisure Centre!

As part of Michael's new initiative 'Rockstar Swimming', he has decided to give back to local clubs and swimmers by offering technique sessions to clubs in the North West.

The cost of this session will be £10 per swimmer made payable in cash (or cheque) on the night of the event. For this, swimmers will receive expert tuition from an Olympic athlete in the water and out of the water, as well as a photo/autograph opportunity before or after the session! 

This session will focus on Butterfly. 

We are offering two sessions each will be 1 hour and are available for the following groups on the following dates and times:

Sunday 20th March 2016 4pm to 5pm : Available to Juniors, JD & District


Sunday 17th April 2016 4pm to 5pm : Available to Improvers & Intermediates

This event is first come, first served only and we can only hold up to 30 swimmers per session.

A new gala has been added to our 'Upcoming Galas' tab

on the Bolton Metro Sprint meet on Saturday 9th April
at the Jason Kenny center in Bolton.

This is a great gala for younger, inexperienced swimmers
​as it is only a 1 day meet and the entry times are relatively easy.
 
Entry cut off date - Sat 26th March.

Please have a look at the Team Sheet below and use the comment system to highlight your availability.

There will be a coach provided that will be leaving at
2pm from Chorley All seasons Leisure Centre.

Could everyone make the effort to go on the coach, there will be Hoodies & Caps handed out,
kindly donated by Frederick's Ice cream and the Chorley Group

This gala has been re-advertised to enable all our swimmers to attend,
not just those that are looking for regional times.

The gala has no lower qualifying times so it is a great way to get into competitive swimming for those aged 9 and over.

Lets get as many of our swimmers attending as we can.

The first round of this years North Lancs League is upon us, have a look for your name to see if you've been selected

Also note as stated previously there will be no training or Mini's next Saturday 20th Feb, as the gala is at Chorley 5-8pm

Liaison officers have been handing out the forms, but if you haven't got one they can be downloaded here on the website,
​either below or on the Useful info/Documents tab.
 
Attached below is also the cover letter from our Membership Secretary detailing the costs for the coming year.

Also even though a lot of the forms have been returned, quite a few haven't paid, and we cant process them without payment. Could everyone please ensure they have paid and filled their forms in.

Time trials will be being held for all squads and Alpha's, this Sunday 14th Feb during normal training times.

It may be advisable to bring along an extra t-shirt or towel to keep warm on poolside between swims.

Sunday 14th Feb - No training at Brinscall 8-10am (Liverpool Gala)

Saturday 20th Feb - No training at Chorley 5-8pm (North Lancs Gala)

Saturday 20th Feb - No Mini Marlins 5-8pm (North Lancs Gala)

Friday 25th March - No training at Chorley 6:30-7:30pm (Good Friday)

Sunday 27th - No training at Chorley or Brinscall all day (Easter Sunday)

Monday 28th - No training at Chorley 7-10pm (Easter Mon bank holiday)
