Wrexham Spring Gala - 30th Apr - 1st May 2016The official details for the meet have still not been published and as you may be aware there have been problems in getting in this gala in previous years. We have to be very quick so I have used the details from last year's gala for the time being in order to submit our entries as soon as the details are released.
This is a VERY popular gala and entries are accepted on a first come first served basis. Obviously I will put out any amended info as soon as it is available. Closing date for Wrexham is STRICTLY Sunday 3rd April 2016. i.e. NEXT Sunday! As this is very short notice, I will accept entries via email / website entry form. Or ensure your entries are in the postbox or handed to me by Sunday 3rd April thanks, Nick Please note that this Saturdays training at Brinscall has been brought forward an hour to accommodate the Chorley Grand Prix cycle race.
Brinscall will be on the route again this year but with training finishing at 11am we should have time to vacate the area before the boys in Lycra show up. Or if you like your men in Lycra why not bring a packed lunch and cheer them on as they blast past :) The following training sessions will be cancelled this week:
Please note that all training including Mini Marlins on Saturday 26th will be unaffected and will be as normal, with the exception of Brinscall training in the morning which is being moved 1 hour forward 9-11am to accommodate the
Chorley Grand Prix cycle race Our Competition Secretary, Nick, will be down at Chorley after the Rockstar clinic on Sunday 20th March (between 5:30 and 7:30pm) to help people with entries for the upcoming Bolton gala and to answer any questions they might have about galas in general.
He will have entry forms and recent time trial results with him. For those that have booked on the course, could we remind you that payment of £10 will be required on the night when you arrive. There are still places available if you want to join in. If so please register, don't just turn up on the night, we need to know in advance. Manchester 9:30am-11:30am. No Training @ Brinscall Saturday 12th March Please be aware that the time for long course training has been changed to 9:30am-11:30am
on Saturday 12th March @ Manchester. Training at Brinscall has been cancelled and everyone from JD & District squads who aren't swimming at the Prescott gala are to train at Manchester instead. |
