15-16th July at Blackpool Palentine pool Apologies from our Competition's Secretary for an error made with the North Lancashire Development Gala, it is not first come first served, slowest swimmers will be cut if the meet is oversubscribed. In order that everyone can enter in on their fastest times the deadline is pushed right back to Sunday 25th June, 8pm (last day of Marlins Gala) (Official closing date of North Lancs Development Meet is Monday 26th so late entries will not be accepted). Entries are welcomed before this date, any improved times achieved at our Marlins Gala will be updated by the competitions secretary before being submitted. Sorry for any confusion caused. Following the loss of the Sheffield Long Course Meet from our Competitions Calendar we would like to try to enter the following one day, long course gala in its place: City of Manchester Summer Non National Qualifier, Saturday 8th July, 2017. Manchester Aquatics Centre. With no lower qualifying times and easy entry it offers a chance to experience long course racing close to home. However please be aware if the gala is oversubscribed the slowest swimmers may be cut from events. Please note 9 and 10 year olds are not permitted to enter the 100 m races. This gala is age on the day. Closing Date: Monday 5th June, 8 pm Please use the entry form on page 8 of the conditions. Please speak to your coaches if you need guidance choosing which open (external) gala / events you should try to enter. Look out for a new fun event.
Rookie Lifeguard Festival 21st May, 5-8pm Available for all squads from Alphas to District £5 entry with a badge, certificate and sticker awarded to those that complete. Details and entry form are attached to the Marlins notice board at All Seasons. Best wishes to our swimmers aiming to improve their 400 m freestyle personal best times this Friday 28th April in Blackpool at the Palatine Leisure Centre.

Please be aware that this Wednesday and Thursday, 26th-27th April, there will be no training at Chorley from 7-9pm, due to the Chorley Schools gala taking place.
This will affect the following squads training. Improvers - Thursday 7-8pm JD Squad - Wednesday 7-9pm District - Wednesday 7-9pm District - Thursday 7-8pm Please Note: District to train 6-7pm on Thursday Sorry for any confusion caused but the warm up for this Saturdays NL gala is 3:45pm NOT 3:15pm as previously stated.
City of Sheffield Long Course Summer Meet 22nd and 23rd July.
It is with regret that we will not be attending this gala as intended as it has proven very popular and is already full and entry closed. Sorry for any disappointment caused.
