Easter Friday, April 7 - No training at Chorley Saturday, April 8 - No morning training at Brinscall Sunday, April 9 - No morning training at Brinscall Monday, April 10 - No training at Chorley Sunday, April 30 - No morning training at Brinscall due to SENW Summer Regionals. Intermediates & Juniors can swim Saturday 8-10am at Brinscall.  Due to the SENW Summer Championships there is no morning training at Brinscall on Sunday 26th March for Intermediate and Junior Squads.
As an alternative they can swim 8-10am on Saturday morning at Brinscall.  SENW Summer Championships – Final Accepted Entries & Rejections can be viewed using the link below. Also available are warmup times. The availability to purchase tickets via the online system is still t.b.c.

Includes presentation of medals from Chorley Marlins Spring Meet , disco and hotpot supper. Tickets are £6 adults and £3.50 for children. This is a ticket only events, no pay on the door. Swim England Competitive Swimming Performance (CSP) Awards The CSP award scheme aims to reward young swimmers in their first years of competitive swimming, encouraging them to focus on their strokes, turns and finishes, as well as speed in order to achieve better swim times for each stroke. There are 3 types of performance award which relate to the length of the swim:
Times for each stroke are graded at 4 levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Once a swimmer achieves or breaks a time for any stroke at that level they can claim a cloth badge which relates to the distance (i.e. Sprint Bronze Award) and the relevant stroke flash (ie Bronze Butterfly Flash). Swimmers can track their progress by collecting further flashes as times are achieved for each stroke at that distance. The awards can be achieved in competition or at organized time trials. The performance table below shows the length of the pool, distance, stroke and times required to achieve these awards. The CSP Awards can be purchased through the club by emailing [email protected] Please can orders be submitted by 31st March Distance Awards (certificate & woven badge) £3.45 Stroke flash £1.45 Invoices will be issued through Swim Manager. Here is an example of where and how the awards can be sewn on to the swimmers T-shirt, showing the different grades and strokes achieved by the swimmer.   PBs can be checked on Swim Manager to see if your swimmer has achieved the requirements. Times have been updated with results from the recent Chorley Marlins Spring Sprint Meet which can also be viewed here.
 The team sheet for the our second fixture of the Micro League North West 2023 is below. Taking place on Saturday 18th March at Liverpool Aquatics Centre, Wavertree Sports Park, Wellington Road, L15 4LE, warm up is 1:00pm. Spectator admission is £3 payable on entry, cash only. Due to the pool at Leyland Leisure Centre being used for a gala on Saturday 18th March there will be no Mini Marlins or Development Group sessions at Leyland this week.

Medals will be presented at the our Presentation & Social Evening on Saturday, March 25th at St George's Church Institute. Ticket details will go on the website tomorrow.
