We have 2 new records to add to our list of home Gala Records.
Newly added this year were the 800m and 1500m freestyle events, and as such we have 2 new names to add to the list. Well done to Harry Collins in the 1500m free and Mia Pilkinton in the 800m free, great swims both of you. to see a full list of times to aim for click the button below. Just to remind anyone that we do offer for sale, competitive swimming awards and badges. Basically you gain an award in Breastroke, Fly, Front Crawl, Backstroke and Individual Medley for Sprint,Middle Distance,Distance swims. Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum Awards are available depending on times taken to complete the relevant distances. More information and times to acheive can be obtained on our Competitive Awards Page by clicking here If any one would like to purchase the awards and badges with times achieved at the distance Gala, Kathryn has collated all the information and can be contacted on [email protected] or at the pool throughout the week. Well done to all those that competed over the weekend, always tough doing the longer distances. The results have now been finalised and you can download the PDF file below to see how you've done. A big thank you to all those that helped out too, without willing volunteers these events wouldn't be possible.

Friday warm up at 7pm but arrive at 6.45pm for a briefing. Saturday and Sunday We have access to the pool at 5pm. The lane draw for round 3 of the Arena League has been picked, please see below picture for details of venue, time and lane. To be swam on the 9th December. Team details will be circulated closer to the time.  Training & Rookie Life Guard has been cancelled at Brinscall on Saturday morning 9th December, as we feel that due to overindulgence at the presentation evening,
attendance would be low. There will however be a full hour session on Saturday 25th November 11.00am till 12.00pm. Minis Gala
Saturday 11th November is the last day we can accept entries and payments for the Minis Gala that is being held on Saturday 18th November. There is no training @ Chorley for any Squad on the 18th November. Distance Gala The closing date for Marlins Distance Gala is this Sunday,12 November at 8pm. Please ensure that you entry form and payment has been sent by the closing date/time as no late entries or late payments will be accepted. No reminders will be sent out for payments. Presentation Evening Tickets are now on sale for the Presentation Evening on 8th December Kathryn will be at the pool throughout the weeks prior to the Presentation should you wish to purchase tickets. Could we ask also, that all the Swimmers who received trophies last year, would they be able to return them by 1st December, either pass them along to Mary or someone on the committee |
