Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are unable to run a training session at Chorley tonight.
The four lanes at All Seasons are still available to swim in for anyone who would normally train tonight but there will not be a a Marlins coach present. Sorry for the inconvenience. Chorley Marlins ASC  Well done to the Chorley Marlins Arena League team who had their round one fixture last Saturday at Kendal Leisure Centre. The team had a great result coming second.
Due to the Arena League fixture there will be no Saturday morning training for JD and District squads on 14th October.
 Lancashire County WPSA 2024 Age Group and Championships Programme and Consideration Times. Please find attached below the programme and consideration times for 2024 Age group and Championships. The competition will take place across two weekends at the Manchester Aquatics Centre. Saturday 27th January Sunday 28th January Saturday 10th February Sunday 11th February Full conditions and entry information will be made available in the coming weeks.
Entries are now open for Chorley Marlins Club Championships - Distance Meet 2023. The main meet is on Sunday 12th November, 12-5pm at Darwen Leisure Centre, The Green, Darwen BB3 1PW. Events for Development Group swimmers only: 50m Butterfly, 100m Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, 100m Individual Medley Events for Alpha Squad and above: 200m all strokes, 200m IM, 400m IM, 400m Freestyle. The 800m and 1500m events will take place on Friday 10th November at All seasons Leisure Centre, 7-9:30pm. Open to swimmers from Junior Squad and above. Entry fees - 50m, 100m, 200m & 400m races £4.00 per race, 800m & 1500m events £5.00 per event, plus a £2.00 gala entry fee. Fees should be paid on entry, please make payment via bank transfer to Chorley Marlins Competition Account Barclays Account Account No. 73783138 Sort Code 20-69-85 As a competitive swimming club, our internal galas are important in the development of our swimmers. We would expect to see all Development Group and squad swimmers entering the gala. Age will be as on Sunday 12th November. Darwen Leisure Centre has excellent facilities, the swimming pool is an 8 lane 25m Regional Short Course Pool with ample tiered spectator seating. As this is our own club gala there are no minimum times needed for entry. The closing date for entries is Sunday 29th October via Swim Manager - entries will not be able to be submitted after this date. The Programmes of Events are attached below
  Weekend morning training sessions are being relocated to All Seasons Chorley from Brinscall Swimming Pool due to the scheduled maintenance works.
Chorley Marlins will train 8am-10am on Saturday & Sunday at All Seasons starting Sunday 15th October. (There is no morning training on Saturday 14th due to the Arena League fixture.) This will be on a temporary basis, with sessions returning back to their previous slots at Brinscall Swimming Pool when it is scheduled to reopen. Alpha Squad will continue to train on Wednesdays at Brinscall for now. |
