We hope you and your families are keeping well.
As Lockdown 2 is due to come to an end next week we would like to update you on training. Training is normally suspended for two weeks in December for the Christmas break and sessions normally have lower attendance levels, therefore we have decided to delay the resumption of Chorley Marlins training until week commencing 4th January 2021. We will provide further details of this nearer the time. Some members have made payment for November training fees, this can be carried forwards or a refund can be requested by emailing [email protected] Our hope is that in 2021 the situation will improve and that training will return to normal levels as more pool time becomes available and restrictions are eased. Swim England has produced a roadmap for the return to swimming competition with Level 4 competitions delivered by clubs in the first instance once government guidelines and the situation re the pandemic allows. There is work to do to build the Club after a very challenging year and we would like to hear from anyone who could give some time to help out and there are opportunities to get involved with the Committee. Thank you for your continued support.

This is so disappointing for the kids. After having so many setbacks this year, Swim England lobbying government to get pools open, and the decision being made not to go back when we can, I don’t understand.
