The club has made the decision that the swim camp will only be for the Intermediates squads and above, due to the physical demands and schedule of the planned sessions. We're sorry for any upset caused but we are looking into running another event targeted at those younger swimmers in the future.
There will be a coach taking all the swimmers to Southport and parents are welcome to join, but could you please specify if you're going by coach and how many spaces you require, so we can decide how big a coach to order. Thanks.

I think the original information poster about this trip was misleading. To me "transport will be provided by the club" implies just that - the club will be providing and paying for transport. Perhaps wording should have included something about at a cost TBA??!! To be asked now for £20 is a bit off. Are those who were not able to attend the bag packing due to other sporting commitments subsidising those who did or is £20 the true cost per person?? Charlotte will not now be joining you on Monday but has not been able to remove her name from the list due to the location of tonight's training being changed with a mere 15 minutes notice.

Thank you for your reply. My gripe is not particularly about the money or what it's for, more the fact that the original poster advertising the event made no mention of payment of any kind. Maybe just something to bear in mind for the future.
