 Advance notice of squad training in August. The following training will take place at Leyland Leisure Centre on the dates below:
Tuesday 10th August 6.00 – 7.30 Alphas & Improvers Replaces Tuesday & Wednesday training 7.30 – 9.00 District, JD & Juniors Replaces Tuesday & Wednesday training Saturday 14th August 3.15 – 4.15 Alphas & Improvers Replaces Friday training 4.30 – 6.00 Intermediates & Juniors Replaces Friday training Sunday 15th August 3.00 – 5.00 Intermediates & Juniors Replaces Sunday morning 5.00 – 7.00 District & JD Replaces Saturday morning We have booked the above sessions at Leyland so that we can run time trials and give all swimmers the opportunity to practise diving off the blocks and backstroke starts ready for the return of competitions. The sessions replace the training sessions at Chorley and Brinscall for that week only. No training at Chorley Tuesday 10th, Wednesday 11th and Friday 13th August. No training at Brinscall Tuesday 10th, Wednesday 11th, Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th August. Please post any questions in the comments section.

Does this mean that Marlins training is still not expected to get back to normal at Chorley in August? When is the Leisure Centre due to open on Saturday and Sunday evenings again?

Hi Mike. The leisure centre is waiting for Boris to make his announcment on Monday. Swimming England will then make there return to swimming guidance. The council will implement the new procedures. We haven't been given any indication when we will be able to return to weekend training.

Hi Katy. Minis will train at Leyland in September. I have spoke with the Leisure Centre, they are going to increase their opening hours at weekend in the near future. They will then look at giving us hours at weekend.
